Action taken was to sell Butcher School, extend line of credit to satisfy Workmen's Compensation Claims, dealing with abandoned cars, getting a permit of occupancy before renting. City manager Gomez said that in the past 6 years, 75% of all paving of city streets have been accomplished, Oct. 21st would be open house at the WVU Medical Complex

Highlights include 3 speakers reflecting on the championship 1967 team: Roy Michael, Matt Fortier, and Jack Raegan. All the players posed for a picture, cheerleaders were introduced. Dr. G.H. "Bud" Sapp moderated the event

Highlights of rally & march featured speakers DD Meighen, Council Phil Mason, Mayor Tom Mainella, Warren Hilsbos, Rev. Jim Norton, Mrs. Williams, City manager Robin Gomez, Jim Williams, John Hindman- FRMC Nurses Union. Robin Norsworthy sings "Blowin in the Wind, A Little Less of Me, and If I Had a Hammer." After March speakers were DD, Rachel Moye, Ricky Pauley-Butler, and Josh Riffle.

Highlights include 3 public hearings: purchase and demolish Butcher School, would repeal a city traffic code that governs the abandonment of vehicles, and the city's building use code.

Highlights of Mannington "Boogie Shoe" Night include dancers, interviews with Melissa Craig, owner of Seeking Stars Art (SSA) and Ben Klob, owner of Nativibes and creative director of SSA, singers Rileigh Fortney singing "Nothing gonna stop Us Now;" Breighanna Fetty singing "YMCA."

Marion County Assistant Prosecuting Attorney shares at the Greater Fairmont Council of Churches Meeting on September 28, the Sexual Abuse Reporting Initiative called SHIELD: See Hear, Intervene, Empower, Learn, and Defend, an over view of serious child exploitation offenses. Program develops a victim-oriented approach to the child sexual abuse reporting process, highlighting the dangers of "sexting" among minors (and provide assistance for those who have been extorted or victimized in this context), and refer stakeholders to appropriate resources for abuse perpetrated within faith communities. 98% of all abusers identify themselves as religious, 561 sexual offenders; 291,000 instances of abuse and 195,000 victims

Highlights include scenes of pre-game sites at Duvall-Rosier Field, views of the honored 1967 class, some scenes of the game against UV Wise, including the fumble and run of 97 yards by Quentin Redmond, the crowning of homecoming king and queen, and a quick comment from Troy B, who prepared the pig roast.
