Highlights features certificates to two 101 Graduates: Julie Fox and Emily Swain; a proclamation for the Fairmont Arts Week through Aug. 19; City Manager Robin Gomez said $1,410,860 was collected from Fairmont residents and employees this last fiscal year to be used to mill and pave more than 15 miles, bringing the balance to $1,935,908. The council also heard a citizen petition from Neil Stalnaker from Cochran Street in East Fairmont, who advocated for the creation of a youth council to get children involved in city decisions, an idea inspired by an ordinance in Cape Coral, Fl.
