7:00   612 MAC Christmas Giving: Dec 19. 612 Director Kim Brooks is interviewed along with volunteer Sue Littleton on special community Christmas giving to 14 scholarship students by various merchants in Marion and Monongalia County.



7:09   We Three Plus at Firehouse Café: This group of Fonso Stalnaker, Chuck, Dawn McClain, and Faith Bowyer performs,  “Carol of the Birds,” Norwegian Folk Song and a medley: “Christmas Glory & unto us a Boy is Born:” Tunes before 1800 taught by Patty Looman. Final Selection is “Come Thou Long Expected Jesus.” Bob Cover reads portion of the Christmas Story



7:18   Cantata at Gateway UMC: Dec. 22, 2013. Musical selections, “On this Shinning Night,” “Blessed is He Who Comes in the Name of the Lord,” “The Wondrous News,” “The Journey,” “On This Shinning Night,” “The Light Has Come,” “High in the Heavens;” “Rise Up Shepherds and Follow,” and Carols of Joy and Adoration.”

7:45   2013 Morris Park Lights Dec. 29, 2013. The Lights from Morris Park by the South Fairmont Rotary Club for the United Way of Marion County are seen. This fundraiser has grown each year and presents much joy to the residents of the county and tri-county area.



8:00   Christmas at the Meighen:  The Yearly Meighen Christmas is highlighted



8:10   Journaling:  The Clarksburg Mission hosts members of Celebrate Recovery, the Mission, and the community participating in a workshop on journaling as a way of life. Comments are given by shared leaders Carolyn Davis and Carolyn Nettles and participants Cynthia Wotasek and Ruthanne Cain. Cain sings two songs that describe, to some extent, her journey: “20 Days” and “Your Happiness Can Go Above the Sky.”



8:38   Rowlesburg VFW 2011 Salute: Nov. 11, 2011 Highlights of Preston County Veterans who have served and sacrificed their lives for America during the war and military engagements are captured and shown through music videos. This video was created and produced by Shawna Sines of the Rowlesburg World War II Military Museum.



8:52   VOCAL TAPESTRY AT GATEWAY:  Sept. 22, 2013.  Held at Gateway UMC, Vocal Tapestry shares a variety of inspirational songs, including Alleluia, Hymn of Promise and Here I Am, Lord.



9:09   Roger Thrower in Concert: Fairmont Minister and Musician Roger Thrower sings both individual songs and Chorus Songs for the Audience from his cd’s and DVD’s. We play “God Is My Redeemer” (8:06), “Come Jump in the River,” (3:01) “Lord When I’m Dry,” (3:54) and “Yahweh” (3:53). His Chorus songs include “Lord Reign over me” (7:57)      



9:30   Junior Basketball League: Portions of games played Jan. 11, 2014 are shown. They include Tree of Life #2 against Branch Church; Tree of Life #1 against Hagans Christian; Morningstar against Tree of Life #1; 1st Presbyterian against Highland Ave.; Hagans against 1st Presbyterian; and 612 MAC against Tree of Life #2.



10:22 Senior Basketball League: Portions of games played on Jan. 12, 2014 are shown. They include Tree of Life #2 against Branch Church; Tree of Life #1 against Hagans Christian; Morningstar against Tree of Life #1; 1st Presbyterian against Highland Ave.; Hagans against 1st Presbyterian; and 612 MAC against Tree of Life #2.



11:27 Center Stage: Aimee Richards. Dr. Aimee Richards’ Fairmont State Class produces video with their students highlighting Fairmont State programs, activities, and interests. Cara Rae Simns, Alicia Reece, and Sophia Porco develop this program on the musical “Rocket Boys.” They talk to some of the performers, highlight aspects of the production and performance while capturing the work of presenting it to the public.



11:34 Drug Court:  An introduction to the Marion County Drug Court. Judge Michael Aloi is seen describing Drug Court on Oct. 22, 2013 and Travis M. Zimmerman, PhD (ABD), Marion County Adult Drug Court Coordinator/Probation Officer is interviewed. Circuit Clerk Rhonda Starn describes her involvement with the Drug Court. A brief portion of Butch Tennant describing the County Commission involvement is highlighted.
 

12:00 WERETH 11 MOVIE: The full length feature film is the story of 11 African-American soldiers murdered in World War II in Wereth, Belgium during the Battle of the Bulge. It features Aubrey Stewart, one of the 11 men from Piedmont, WV, from where the Aubrey Steward Project originated. First shown on TV19 in March of 2012, our viewers are given exclusive use, compliments of Joe Small, executive producer. People wanting to purchase this film on DVD can contact T.J. 1:03   Colonel Roberts, Tuskegee, and Red Tails an introduction to the history and legacy of Colonel George “Spanky” Roberts and the Tuskegee airmen is presented. D.D. Meighen discusses Marion County Resident George “Spanky” Roberts from the Three Rivers Cinema, the Fairmont Airport, the Smithsonian and the WV State Capitol. Footage of Roberts is shown from various places, including Wells Fargo and the Smithsonian. Additional comments are given by former President Dr. Hazo Carter of WV State University



1:16   Edith Roberts at Fairmont State:  Program was originally aired in Feb. 2009. This history of Colonel “Spanky” Roberts as an original Tuskegee Airmen is presented as a prelude to his widow, Mrs. Edith Roberts, speaking at the Fairmont State Festival of Ideas in 2008.



2:06 Tuskegee Airman Program at Fleming Memorial: This program was presented on Feb. 26, 2009 at Fleming Memorial Presbyterian Church and first aired in April 2009. Charlotte Meade reads an account of Colonel George "Spanky" Roberts from Geraldine Belmear. Charlotte then discusses how the naming of the bridge came to be. She also sings the song "The Bridge" she wrote for the dedication on June 3, 1999; Rev. Richard Bowyer discusses Rose Cousins, the first female African-American pilot in West Virginia; Joan Lacey shared the influence of the Tuskegee airmen upon her brother, and Jan Brown Harris will share how her 5th graders benefited from visits by Tuskegee Airmen to her classroom in Washington D.C.  
                                                

2:36  Bridges of West Virginia: This program was first shown in March 2008 after it had won a national award from the Transportation Department was featured on National Geographic Channel. It is the program most enjoyed by viewers.



3:32   Monongah Mine Disaster:  This 1985 half hour black and white film, narrated by Davitt McAteer of Fairmont, traces the causes and results of the Monongah Mine Disaster.  


4:00   COUNTY COMMISSION: Jan. 15, 2014  Highlights include “Go to Meeting” Video Feed; Marion County 200th Birthday Observed with Cake; Bud Sapp, President of Salvation Army Board, introduces Lieutenant Alvaro Porras and Service Store Director Heather Hawkins for words of appreciation on recent use of election center for Toy Drive and “Angel Tree” Program; Chris McIntire shares work of 9-1-1 during Kanawha County Water Crisis, including 10,000 bottles of water and ; Charlie Reese provides updates on “Riverfront Project,” and $1,000 donated to food drive of Times West Virginian by Commissioners. Gina Wagaman gives report on need for funding to end homelessness in Marion County, sharing dates of programs and suggesting the need for $70,000 operating fund.




4:52   Greater Fairmont Council of Churches News: Highlights include information and video on Fairmont General Hospital Appreciation Day, Trip to the Legislature, Meet Your Candidate Forum, Disaster Expo, Mission Trip to Long Island on March 9-14, Junior and Senior Church League Basketball,  Empty Bowl Project, Marion County Drug Court, and items about Greater Fairmont Council of Churches.



5:19   Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Program at Morningstar: Jan. 19, 2014: Highlights includes Music by Umojah Songs of Joy and Kevin Hines. Tiffany Walker Samuels Speaks on, “Where Do We Go From Here.” Impressions by Youth are given from Jr. Deacon Isiaih Hood, Roe Jones, Chelsey Wilson, and Sharon Faye playing “I Know My Redeemer Lives.”



6:15   CITY COUNCIL: Jan. 16:  Highlights include year end review by City Manager Jay Rogers and a presentation of the “File of Life” by General Sabrina Haught
