7:00:  Jim Rote narrates George Morgan Pickney house. 
Jim Rote describes the Morgan Morgan house both from videos recorded in 2007 and in 2012. In today’s narration we are led through the house and given a full description of the surroundings.

7:34: CHRISTMAS TOY SHOP: 
Highlights from 4 days of filming in November included these interviews of volunteers Don Burrows, Joy Powers, David Sturm, Butch Tennant, Rev. Holley Faulkner, Jr., Janet Chittum, Marsha Fluharty, Cassie Brown, Stephen Austin, Debbie Mann, Houston Richardson & Kris Cinalli. Shoppers interviewed were Veronica Francis, Matt Davis, Kathryn Comas, and Kaila Snider.

8:08   ROBERT GOSLIN, DULCIMER CONVENTION, AND MARION COUNTY PARKS & RECREATION COMMISSION: 2006. 
These programs highlight the early history of TV19. First, Robert Goslin is interviewed along with churches who helped him settle from New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina; second, the 2006 WV State Dulcimer Convention is presented from Fairmont as legend Patty Looman is interviewed and invited to play; and third, the work of the MCPC in 2006 is shown when Dan Talbett was Director and Tony Michalski was assistant.

9:03   Coal Miner Appreciation Day Swap Meet: 
Highlights of the first WV Coal Miner’s Appreciation Day Swap Meet Dec. 6, 2013 includes interviews with Matthew Kline (Singer, author, and activist); Carol Thorn, President Everettville Historical Association on April 30, 1927 explosion that killed 111;  Danielle Petrak: Curator: Royce Watts WVU Museum; Trudy Lemley on Carolina Mine and her book “Life in a Northern WV Coal Mine Town;” Raven Thomas, AmeriCorp Vista worker with the Marion Co. Historical Society; and Colin Gatland, co-founder of Eastern Mining Collectors Association (EMCA)

9:30:  SHOE GIVE AWAY AT FIRST PRESBYTERIAN.
This Special program of Dec. 14th distributed 432 pairs of children. Interviewed were recipients Terry Sturm, Rhonda Quisenberry, Lucas and Elizabeth and Rev. Elisa Neal, minister of the church.

9:41:  VOCAL TAPESTRY CHRISTMAS CONCERT.
On Dec. 14, Vocal Tapestry performed at the Gathering. Selections included “Ain’t-a-That Good News; O Rejoice, Ye Christians Loudly; I’m Gonna Sing ‘Til the Spirit Moves In My Heart; Alleluia; Coventry Carol (men); Lift Thine Eyes (women); It Came Upon a Midnight Clear; Away in a Manger; A Maiden Most Gently; Still, Still, Still; What Sweeter Music; Candlelight Carol, Silent Night; A Noel Medley; and a I Love Christmas Medley.”

10:43 FEAST OF SEVEN FISHES MASS:
Held at the Gathering, the Mass featured the priest Father Hilarion Cann, liturgist Anthony Eates, and musician Danise Roncone.

10:58 FEAST OF SEVEN FISHES: 
Highlights of the Day in downtown Fairmont features interviews with vendors, performers, and spectators. Vendors interviewed included Pauline Book, LeeAnn Cinalli, Pamela Beerbower, Marie Nardi, Kevin Sansalone, Jay Rogers, Natalie Tennant, Crystal Hickman & Maria Cartright, Zach and Heather Ayers, Master Chef Brian Floyd, Josh Clark, Andy Herberger, Brandon Domico, and James Hoston, Jeanina Butcher, Liz Currey, Patti Cinalli; Kara & Stacia Martin and Shon Salmon; and Terri Tichneor. Visitors interviewed were George Levitsky and Todd Hall. Scenes are shown from many of the vending booths of Benvenuto, West Fork Pottery, and Kettle Corn. Entertainers shown performing were Benjamin Sota from Pittsburgh and Ben DeFazio from Clarksburg.

12:00 VOICES FROM THE EARTH: Aug. 21 at Colebank Hall 
Highlights include interviews with Ilene Evans, Artistic Director of Voices from the Earth, Inc. and those portraying African-American Civil War leaders. Dr. James Armstead is interviewed as Maj. Martin Delany; Charles Everett Pace as Frederick Douglass; Jamal Koram as Capt. Robert Smalls and Joey Madia as Captain Luis Emilio. Brief scenes include discussion and interactions between participant and audience. Outside scenes are fine but scenes from inside Colebank Hall are orangish due to lighting.

 2:19   CITY COUNCIL: NOV. 26
Highlights include Fairmont City Council approving $360,000 purchase of the WesBanco building on Merchant Street at the council meeting Tuesday as Jim Sago and Eileen Layman presented the case. Also, the city approved the use of automatic license plate readers by Fairmont police on a single vehicle to assist in very specific situations. Charles Hillberry spoke against measure. A collective bargaining agreement between the International Association of Firefighters and the city were approved and Frank Hines was re-appointed to the Marion County Parks and Recreation Commission for a three-year term

3:12   UNITED WAY CHORAL CONCERT: Dec. 1, 2013.
Music from FSU Collegiate and Concert Choir, along with selections from WF High School, East Fairmont Middle, Rivesville Middle, and Mannington Middle highlight the Christmas season and UW Fund Raising Efforts.

4:00   COUNTY COMMISSION: DEC. 4.
Highlights include all delinquent tax liens on real estate within the county returned for non-payment for 2012.  The Commission presented a Resolution and Order Authorizing the Conveyance of Certain Property in the (100) Hundred Block of Adams St. to the City of Fairmont for the property located at Palatine Park which the City of Fairmont owns. Charlie Reese presented his update on the Palatine Park Project in that both homes on New Street have been demolished; Mayors on the Move Meeting went very well as well as meeting with the largest re-cycling plant or facility in the world located in Fairmont called Resolute with 130 employees.  Charlie hopes that they will expand into tissue plant; which produces toilet paper and tissues. Belinda Biafore added that the County has been awarded $100,000.00 grant from the Courthouse Facilities to do work on our skylights and roof in the Courthouse. Blair Montgomery shared the Miners Swap Meet will take place this Friday, December 6, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Fairmont. Ted Offutt, Marion County Day Report Director, stated that Jan. is the target date for Marion County Drug Court. Chris McIntire the 911 Director added that they began in December an open door policy at their facility. They are inviting a volunteer fire department to their facility each month so that they can see the facility and talk to some of those dispatchers to try to make it easier to communicate with each other and what each one needs in order to better serve the community.

4:34   COUNTY COMMISSION: DEC. 11.
Highlights include Charlie Reese updates on “Riverfront Project good news,” with an emphasis on bathrooms. Nancy Bickerstaff requested funding for East West Stadium for seats; Rhomda Starn discussed new electronic filing system, and partnership requests for various agencies were approved.


5:11   CONSUMER SCIENCE NEWS #185,
Highlights include information on Eldercare, Energy, Vietnam Veterans, Global Corn Breeding, Hot Water Bills, Car Crash Injuries, Physical Fitness Facts, and Entertaining oddities on dogs and cats.

5:33   CITY COUNCIL: DEC. 10: 
Highlights include Honor Flight Presentation and concerns by Shuck Construction; financial adjustments to budget adopted as well as a variance on Adams St. Property.
