7:00 amm - VOCAL TAPESTRY
On June 8, 2009, Vocal Tapestry presented “Homeland” Concert at St. Peter’s. Songs were religious and patriotic while tracing a theme of American history and heritage.

8:17 am - ARMY NEWS WATCH
Two Programs features many important news items regarding the Army. Sponsored by Man Tech of Fairmont, these programs are produced by soldiers and about soldiers.

9:16 am - CONSUMER SCIENCE NEWS & NOTES
This fast moving 23 minute show features helpful information from experts at the US Center for Disease Control, the Poison Control Center, Ronald McDonald House Charities and 19 others. The other important feature of the show is entertaining oddities. You will learns about garden plants, how they received their names and their functions.

9:39 am - AARP
Eric Wells narrates this fast moving half hour program with interviews from the WV Bureau of Senior Services. These people are interviewed: Nancy Cipoletti, Libby Boggess, Marcia Meeks, Ray Woods and Fredericka White.

10:03 am - FAIRMONT YARD SALE OF JUNE 5-6 2009
Seven Types of Yard Sales are visited over the weekend of June 5-6 in and around the Fairmont Area. The seven are (1) Porch sale at Charlton St. (2) Church sales at Central Christian and Barrackville United Methodist Church (3) Traditional yard sale on Benoni Ave (4) Great Fairmont Community Yard Sale at City Parking Garage (5) Multi-Family Yard Sale on Murray Ave. (6) Street Sale on JoHarry Drive and (7) School Sale by Senior Class at Fairmont Senior High School.

10:50 am - AFRICA UNIVERSITY CHOIR
The choir performs at West Virginia Wesleyan College during the United Methodist Conference on June 13, 2009. This is a portion of their concert – a more complete concert will follow in the months to follow.

11:00 am - AIMEE RICHARDS ON ETHIOPIA - MAY 27, 2009
Aimee Richards speaks to the Rotary Club of Fairmont on adopting two children from Ethiopia while starting an orphanage there with a fellow adoptee in that country.

Highlights of the evening include before the Banquet interviews with Duane Cochran, Fairmont Times-West Virginian reporter, Women Basketball Coach, Steve McDonald, Athletic Director “Rusty” Elliott, academic and community athletes Jamal Womble, Gerod Green, and Kristy Rausch. Green and Rausch interviews done on the track and softball field. Because of the wonderful help from Adam Zundell, director of athletic media relations and marketing, we were able to post pictures from the banquet and include the following talks: Coach Bob Huggins, Buck Thompson, Jack Reagan, Rausch and Womble. Closing comments were given by Rusty Elliott and Charles Reese

2:49 pm - COUNTY COMMISSION MEETING - JUNE 3, 10 & 17, 2009

3:00 pm - THREE RIVERS PARADE
The yearly kick off Parade to the Three Rivers Festival features the Marion County High School and the combined Monongah, Farmington, Barrackville, and Mannington Middle School. WVU mascot, football players, championship North Marion Basketball Girls and Fairmont Senior Boys and Girls Lacrosse Teams are featured.

3:54 pm - JOSH KNOTTS
Magician and Illusionist Josh Knotts is featured for the second consecutive year on TV19. Very popular with all audiences he performs illusionist that has elevated him to the top of the magician world.

4:31 pm - SAMPLES OF BAND JU JU, BULLDOZER
Two popular tri county and tri state bands perform brief samples of their original work at the Friday and Saturday Three Rivers Concert.

5:05 pm - PEPPERONI ROLL BAKE-OFF
The extremely popular and new event of the Festival, the Pepperoni roll bake off is featured. Many of the exhibitors are featured as well as the three winners. Some of the judges are interviewed, including the Festival and the Teen Queen. Also interviewed are Marcella Yaremchuk (in charge of the PRBO) and Sharon Swearingen (Director)

Closing fireworks amidst the Memorial Day weekend of Fairmont patriotic views and memorable music set to inspire.

The story of the father who inspired Father’s Day will reveal the rich history of Fairmont in this event of Father’s Day

The life of Dr. R. Thomas Webb and his contribution to Father’s Day is presented

6:57 pm - PRAYERS OF THE CHILDREN
This world renown song is performed by three young men when they were at East Fairmont High School.
