Highlights of drumline shows from Clay Battelle, Liberty, Buckhannon Upshur, Berkley Springs, Bridgeport, Lincoln and Robert C. Byrd. Also performing were the WVU Drum & Fife Corp and the WVU Drumline, directed by Dr. Wayne Morris. The finale featured all the drumlines on a combined cadence.

The 100th Anniversary of the Dec. 6, 1907 Mine Disaster is shown from Monongah. Highlights include interviews with Marion County Historian Tom Koon and Dr. Joseph D’Andrea who wrote the definitive book on all the deceased miners. Senator Roman Prezioso conducted the service as he introduces Governor Joe Manchin and various delegations from Italy, including Michele Lorio, President of Molise and Italian ambassador Giovanni Casstellaneta. Monongah students read the names of each deceased miner and sang while prayers were offered from Bishop Michael Bransfield and Rev. David Hudkins.
