Kip Price, retired employee of Mon Power and the Rivesville Power Plant and native of Piedmont, WV discusses the film, Wereth 11. He shares what has happened since it was first released in the news and halls of Congress.
12:14     WERETH 11 MOVIE
The full length feature film is the story of 11 African-American soldiers murdered in World War II in Wereth, Belgium during the Battle of the Bulge. It features Aubrey Stewart, one of the 11 men from Piedmont, WV. First shown on TV19 in March of 2012, our viewers are given exclusive use, compliments of Joe Small, executive producer. Last meeting of Commission President "Butch" Tennant is highlighted by words of appreciation from Charlie Reese, Butch Phillips, Rhonda Starn, Dot Underwood (Governor Tomblin's representative), DD Meighen, and Pat Wilson. New hires, holiday schedules and overtime pay for employees were passed.

Highlights include selection of Randy Elliot as President and Ernie VanGilder as Vice-President of the Commission. Request came for Leadership Marion. Rick Garcia is welcomed as newest member of the Commission.

Highlights include 173rd Marion County Celebration by Dora Grubb of Marion Co. Historical Society, Bob Gribben discussing new venture of the FCDP, Bobbi Benson on the Marion County Solid Waste Authority, and approval of agenda items.

Highlights include health, home, eating, travel, and technology tips for the average American. The oddities for the month are spices and garlics.
 4:00     SKINNY LOGGINS
Leroy "Skinny" Loggins, a 2001 inductee spoke at the 2014 Fairmont State Athletic Hall of Fame. He had played pro basketball in Australia from 1981 to 2001 and was inducted into their Hall of Fame in 2014. Loggins represented a Michael Jordan type of athlete in Australia. In 17 seasons in the NBL, He won 3 Championships, 10 All NBL first team selections, 3 M.V.P awards, the 1997 Three Point shoot out champion and scored over 20 ppg in all 17 seasons of his NBL career. This will be his first time back since 1986.

Introduction to the history and legacy of Marion County Resident Colonel George "Spanky" Roberts and Tuskegee airmen is presented by D.D. Meighen from the Three Rivers Cinema, Fairmont Airport, WV State Capitol and Smithsonian with footage and comments by now deceased President Dr. Hazo Carter of WV State University.

Harper Meredith Building for Prosecutor's Office and Parking (12) working in Disaster Response (13) Starting the Development Office with the hiring of Belinda Biafore and Charlie Reese (14) Purchasing Law Tower (15) supporting Adult Drug Court and (16) Developing Palatine Park.

Special song prepared for and sung at the 9-11-11 Service at East Fairmont High School by a community choir. The song was directed by then Greg Laurer of Gateway and the pianist was John Morrison of First Presbyterian.
