Patriot Memorial Flag Project    06/14/14    24
Highlights include raising of the flag over I-79 and past previews of the Patriot Flag at Fairmont State on Sept. 2012 and on the deployment of troops to Iraq on Sept. 10, 2011. Speakers at the Flag Dedication included Fairmont Mayor Ron Straight, County Commissioner Butch Tennant, WV Delegate Linda Longstreth, Designer Rick Hardman, Tony Michalski of the Parks and Recreation Commission, and Loren Jackson (President of the Korean War Veterans Association).

COAL COUNTRY CELEBRATION     06/07/14    23:14

24:06: Highlights include Holly Turkivick, Shahnaz Younus (Tradition Indian Dance), Leah Lebow (Musician), Aphera and her Mountain Gypsies (Dance), the Hoop Troupe (Dance), and the Recipe (Band).  Many crowd scenes occur. There is a visit to West Fork Pottery and Joe-n-Throw Coffee Shop with various interviews with customer Jordan McDonald and West Fork Pottery owner Michael Ray.

Highlights include introducing team dancers and choreographers by hosts Gretchen Ross, WBOY anchor and Dr. Bob Mill, Fairmont State Professor: The teams are: Jim Chadwell and Marlena Mazza with choreographers Eileen and Arthur Frank; Rob Linger and Nikka Bowman with choreographer Natalia Krimmel; Matt Delligatti and Peggy Coster with choreographer Jackie Hammond; Todd Anderson and Holly Kauffman with choreographer Olivia Bowen; and Chad Fowler and Christine Laverata with choreographer Teresa Sestito. A brief interview with United Way Director Tiffany Samuels and Chamber of Commerce Director Tina Shaw conclude the program. DWTS is schedule for Oct. 21st at Fairmont State's Colebank Hall.
