Highlights include theme music from 11 films, salute to the Armed Services, Led Zeppelin, and special in honor of 911 first responders. Interviews are conducted with Mike Cale, Band Director and former Director, Randall Hall.

Highlights include comments by Rev. Elsie Neal, children of VBS singing the theme music of "Camp Discovery," and scenes at Palatine Park.

07:45     CHRISTMAS IN JULY: 07/18/15
Highlights include interviews with Nicky Osbourne, new executive director of United Way, Jessica Kittle on Prickett's Fort's Christmas in October, Santa Claus, Elizabeth Lewis, vendor, Dora Kay Grubb, and Bob Hunt who helped people with making decisions of purchases of Christmas Displays.

Highlights of the July 6-10 Marion County work team included interviews with some of the mission team: John Michael Aiello, Rick Gavette, Jerry Walter, Kristie Latocha, David Lester, homeowner Karen King of Farmington and Elizabeth Jones of Frazier St. in Grant Town (278-5881) and the completion of 3 repairs - one in Farmington, on Murray Ave. in Fairmont (Whites 826-3689), and one in Grant Town. Kitchen workers include Becky Carvillano, Irene Chicarelli, Margaret Schleicher, Kris Schmidt, and Helen Moran.

Highlights from July 12-13, 2015 at Palatine Park features music of Lee Boys from Miami, Harold Davis, Birthday scenes, Mary Quarterman dancing, Sandy Ventura & Carrol Jacques singing to "Fats" Domino, and concluding interview with organizer Bill Stalnaker while crowd scenes are shown.

10:41:12     DEDICATION OF WV STATE OFFICE: 07/15/15
Ribbon cutting dedication ceremony is presented with comments from Governor Earl Ray Tomblin, Department of Administration Secretary Jason Pizatella, County Commissioner Randy Elliott, and Fairmont Mayor Ron Straight. Interviews followed with Gov. Tomblin and Butch Tennant. Then, brief highlights from the Commission's Yearly Picnic which featured music from the Masons & a visit from Gov. Tomblin.

11:09     UNITED WAY PACESETTER BREAKFAST: 07/15/15
Pacesetter breakfast held at the Fairmont Women's Club featured comments from George Levitsky and Rock Manchin - co chairs- Mary Jo Thomas and interim director Robin Moore.

Richard Aamot speaks to Rotary July 9 on underground work he performed during World War II during the occupation of Oslo, Norway as a 11 year old.

Overcoming Trauma and Violence: Power of Resiliency 59:00. This episode explores the three "Es" of trauma: Events, Experience of Events, and Effect. It also emphasizes the fulfilling path to resiliency that helps people tap into their strengths. Trauma's effects often place a heavy burden on individuals, families, and communities. SAMHSA's National Center these conditions are discussed as central in behavioral health care systems.

Highlights include Theresa Wright requesting funds for Backpacks; Columbus Carpenter sharing the need to change name of East Marion Park to the East Marion Veteran Park; Diamond Brown thanking the Commission for support of the Fairmont Community Development Center; and a lady thanking commission for the Skateboard Park that is used by her 4 year old son who has spina bifida.

Highlights includes funding for Theresa Wright's Smart Backpacks; Comments by Terry Bunner on returning to Marion County, praise for the 4th of July event at Palatine Park, and change of dates for 07/15/15 meeting.

Highlights include budget adjustment, leasing 22.708 acres for city shooting range and authorized Council Meetings. Citizens Petitions featured Sam & Twyla Marra on water problems around Troy Lane.

Highlights includes Brian Wilmoth, General Manager of resolute, speaking on the company and its commitment to working with local schools and non-profits in recycling efforts, Charlie Reese discussing Palatine Park Events, and former Circuit Clerk Barbara Core discussing new magisterial divisions.

Highlights include interviews with Marilyn Gifford RN, Case Manager for 7 counties; Dan Weber, non- related care giver for Mary Margaret Fletcher, who discusses her situation and who is a recipient of in home health care Lighthouse program; Susanne Given, in home health care provider; Debbie Harvey, executive Director of the Marion County Senior Citizens as she discusses programs for in care: Personal, Aged & Disabled, Lighthouse, FAIR-Family Alzheimer's In-Home Respite, Private Pay and Veterans.

10th Rowlesburg WW II Living History Scenes and interviews, June 27, 2015 features comments from General Hoyer, Woody Williams, chaplain Mick, Katie Wolf Katie Wolfe-Orescanin reads letter, Foster Huffman, and Noah Blackburn. On the field scenes includes 15:30 camp Dawson, re-enactors Chris Funkhouser of Pittsburgh and Jim Barnes of Morgantown representing Soviet Union; Eric Satterfield, representing the 201st German Security Division; John Uhler, representing the Protestant Chaplaincy; and Alex Smitty, representing the German Catholic Chaplaincy; Bonnie Junkins, signatures of WWII Vet; Jessica Sell, representing Senator Joe Manchin; Major General James A. Highlights include a panel discussion by varied persons across the State in areas of Senior Services: WV Senator Roman Prezioso; Delegate Tim Manchin; Northwestern Area Agency on Aging Director Lynn DiPasquale; WV Bureau of Senior Services Commissioner Robert E. Roswall; Sixteenth Judicial Circuit Court Judge Michael Aloi, Captain Emeritus Sabrina Haught of Homeland Security and Emergency Management; and Senior Legal Aid Attorney Ms. Cathy McConnell. Audience personnel James Williams and Cathy Reed also contributed thoughts to the discussion panel. Debbie Harvey, Executive Director, was the moderator of the event.

DD Meighen discusses his cutting back on TV19 while hoping to involve community groups. Efforts to secure volunteers and raise funds have not gone well, and because of health and other issues, TV19 will for now be scaled back but hopefully will reinvent itself later.

Highlights of senior needs in South Western Ohio are shown and how they were met successfully by the area agency on aging through a levy that resulted in significant senior services.
